Not that I'm naming names or anything, but in my numerous travails around DA and the paths that lead beyond it, I've noticed a LOT of comics with great art and terrible writing.  Now, comics are kind of scorned for being "low" art in the first place, a stigma that I feel is undeserved.  But all art has its justified detractors, and I suppose because I've run across several back-to-back that this has come to the forefront of my ranting.
